I had been head down building a business mentorship career for a few years and putting in the MOST.

And even though I was being recognized and my work was genuinely changing lives, I knew deep down that I was hiding, undercharging and nowhere near growing my company the way I dreamed of.

I felt stuck.

Something wasn't working, even though everything looked like it was working.

So, I joined a coaching membership with someone I really respected. And then I invested another thousand dollars for a private call with him — an hour of his time to really dig in.

During that call, he looked at me and said something that landed like a slap in the face: I don't understand why you're not charging what I'm charging. You're just as good a coach as I am.

It shook me because he was right.

I'd been limiting my vision, limiting my desires, so that I wouldn't feel too big.

And here was someone I was investing in who was essentially saying: there's no logical reason you couldn't be doing exactly what I'm doing.

I knew he was right. But knowing something and being willing to become it are two very different things. Of course, I was terrified of what his words meant and what he was quietly challenging me to become. And I resisted with everything in me.

But as I started scaling my work, things became undeniably clear.

I had to update my identity — stop thinking like someone playing small and start embodying who I actually was capable of being.

I had to do the internal shadow work, confronting the parts of me that were genuinely scared and hesitant about claiming that kind of power.

And I had to understand how millionaires with million-dollar brands actually operate — how they organize their time, how they make moves, how they think about their businesses.

These three things had to work together.

And here's what made it harder: I didn't come from an entrepreneurial family. I didn't come from money. I am an immigrant kid who was told to go to college, get a good job and pray I get to keep it for forty years.
